Engineered flooring has the advantage of being able to be put anywhere. As a piece of engineered flooring has part of the natural wood on top and a 9-ply birch core, each piece is still 100 percent wood but not solid hardwood that will warp or bend when exposed to heat or moisture. Prefinished exotic engineered flooring comes with a UV cured aluminum finish in one grade, while unfinished engineered exotic hardwood is available in select and better grades.
